San Francisco, California     February 16, 2014     6:26 am–7:18 am     first dark and quiet, then sun rose and busier     52 °F     long-sleeved shirt, jeans, fleece jacket, socks, shoes, empty stomach     loud constant whir/grind of cables for cable car     increasing traffic (vehicular and pedestrian)     a few flaps of pigeon wings     bells and clanging of cable cars     several people stopped to look once it got light     saw moon on way there     jet lagged
