Fairfax, Ohio     September 27, 2014     9:27 pm–10:32 pm     cool and dark     65 °F     short-sleeve shirt, jeans, socks, shoes, hair pulled back     blew nose several times     saw the moon, Saturn, M-13, and the Owl Cluster through telescopes earlier in the evening     crickets and cicadas chirping all around     faint stink of wood fire     indistinct voices from porch across street     very difficult to see     headlights passed by (one set pulled down driveway, then reversed and parked on street)     a few people (and dogs) walked quickly past
