Fairfax, Ohio     August 15, 2014     1:16 pm–2:30 pm     pleasant in shade with gentle breeze     74 °F     short-sleeve shirt, hiking pants, sandals, wide-brimmed sun hat, hair pulled back     roaring growl of riding mower at beginning (I chose a spot out of its way)     Sam and Alexander playing, mostly reasonably     shade I sat in turned gradually to sun (feet got hot)     sounds of birds, insects, nearby industry, children in community pool     breeze rustling leaves in trees
