Fairfax, Ohio     February 1, 2014     4:36 pm–5:33 pm     cloudy and breezy, deepening grey sky     57 °F     long-sleeved shirt, leggings, flannel-lined jeans, fleece pullover, rain jacket (unzipped), wool socks, wool fleece–lined slides, bare hands and head (!)     wind chimes, dog barking constantly, birds chirping all around, cars splashing through snow melt, one goose honk     a few people walking by (with and without dogs)     church bells near end     found a dry place to sit     hair kept blowing in face and bothering me
